How Is My Order Shipped?
We have received many questions regarding our shipping policy. Our specialized shipping container holds 12 bottles. You may order as few or as many bottles of soda pop as you wish, but it is more economical to order in multiples of twelve. The minimum amount must be $16.00 in order for you to proceed to checkout. We charge straight UPS counter rates plus a $5.00 handling fee per dozen (to cover the cost of our specialized styrofoam carrier). We do our best to keep the shipping rates as inexpensive as possible, but glass bottles are heavy (approximately 18 lbs./dozen)
We also require a signature in order to assure that the package reaches its destination.If this arrangement does not work for you, Soda Pop Stop will ship the package but you will assume all liability if the package does not reach its destination. If you are not home when UPS delivers the package you may make special arrangements for delivery with UPS by leaving a note for the driver. Should you fail to claim your order and it is sent back to us, you will be responsible for the shipping charges.
*Please note: if a package is returned to us in good order (simply because the recipient changed his or her mind), we will charge a restocking fee that is equal to the cost of shipping and handling.
How Soon After Placing An Order Can I Expect My Product To Arrive?
We will get your order out as soon as possible. It generally takes no longer than one week to pull your order and process it assuming that all of the products you ordered are in stock. Please note that this time frame may fluctuate with the holiday seasons.
Although it is optional, please remember to include your e-mail address when placing an order. This information helps us with an alternate way of contacting you. It is especially helpful when there is an unexpected delay in processing your order or we have a question before shipping. Please note we will not use your e-mail address other than to contact you regarding your order.
After your order has been shipped we will e-mail you your tracking number. From there, you can track your package with UPS. It generally takes UPS 3-7 business days depending on where the package is going. If you need a special rush please notify us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
How Can I Cut My Shipping Costs?
We understand shipping can be costly because glass bottles are so heavy. We suggest that whenever possible ship your order to a business address. Commercial rates are less expensive. If you have your own UPS or Fed-Ex account, we would be more than happy to charge your account.
Can I Ship My Order Internationally?
UPS will not ship food items (i.e. soda pop) internationally. It is possible to use the U.S. Postal Service but they will only insure packages that are shipped priority mail. When using the USPS please be advised that if damage should occur to the package there is no recourse. Please e-mail us at email@example.com for rates and transit times.
Can I Ship Orders To Hawaii and Alaska?
Yes but to do so through UPS requires second day air (which is extremely costly). We suggest using the U.S. Postal Service but these orders must be shipped Priority Mail in order for the package to be insured against damage. If you decide to ship using the USPS please note that if the package is damaged you are responsible for filing a claim directly with the USPS. Can I Ship To APO Addresses?
Unfortunately we cannot since soda pop is considered a "perishable food item".
