** Galco's Third Annual Summer Soda Tasting Slated For July 28, 2013!!!

Mark your calendars! Galco's announces its third annual Summer Soda Tasting will take place from 5-8 p.m. on July 28, 2013.

The popular event has drawn thousands of soda-philes from across Los Angeles who have enjoyed an evening of soda samples, music, entertainment, and a chance to chat it up with Galco’s owner John Nese, aka the “King of Pop.”

The event is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Southwest Museum, who are fighting to have Los Angeles’ first museum as well as the Casa de Adobe opened once again to the public. All proceeds from the Summer Soda Tasting -- including all Galco's sales of soda, candy, beer and wine -- will go to Friends of the Southwest Museum.

Tickets for the Summer Soda Tasting are $12 in advance and $15 day of the event. Tickets will be available June 1 via the Friends of the Southwest Museum (http://www.friendsofthesouthwestmuseum.com). Advance tickets will also be on sale in person at Galco's (cash or check only).
